It is such a relief to have all of my applications sent off, I sent the last one off yesterday so now it is just a matter of waiting time to find out if I'm successful in getting in to my top choices. Penn State is still the one that I want to go to the most but If I had to settle for second best any of my top three would be good colleges, as they all have good accounting programs.

But it is still good that my applications have been finished.

I know that most people won't find working in the office of an accounting firm fun, especially if said firm is being run by their father but I've been really enjoying the experience. I've been helping my dad at the office on a regular basis for the past couple of years now but this summer is the first time that I'm helped him full time, working Monday to Friday.

I think that the fact that I've been enjoying the experience proves, beyond any other doubt, that one day I'm going to be an accountant for real.

Polly has managed to strike a balance between work, school and play and she always has time for her family and friends, who take up a big part in her life. Her parents made sure that Polly, and her siblings, learned the value of having a balance between work and play and even though they know that Polly won't go overboard in what she does, they still look out for her just in case they need to step in and stop her from getting too involved.

Polly is mostly friendly and approachable to anyone but if she's pushed, she can show her nasty side but you'd have to really get to her for this stage to happen.

FAMILY:

Matthew Parker - Accountant [50]. Matthew is an accountant who owns a firm in Stamford. It is because of her father's career that has inspired Polly to pursue a career in accounting, she helps her father out in his office two days a week. Matthew is from a fairly wealthy family and he met Polly's mother while they were both at the same college and it didn't take long for them to realize that they loved each other.

Prudence Parker - Homemaker [48]. Prue decided to stay at home and raise her children, rather than pursue a career even though she studied English literature with plans to become a teacher at college. It was while she was at college that she met her husband, Matthew, and knew that she wanted to spend the rest of her life with him. Like her husband, Prue is also from a well-to-do family background, her family being from an old family dating back to around the 1600s. Prue is originally from Oxford, England and came to the United States on a scholarship when

Martin Parker - Brother [18]. Martin is the oldest of the Parker siblings and is currently in his first year of college at Harvard, graduating from SDS last year. Martin is studying law with the hopes of achieving his dream and becoming a lawyer. Polly is extremely close to her older brother and looks up to him.

Patricia Parker - Sister [14]. Tricia is Polly's younger sister and a freshman at SDS. Unlike Martin and Polly, Tricia is not as interested in school like her siblings. While she maintains a passing grade so that she can stay in her year, she does not give her all when it comes to her studies much to the despair of her teachers. She would much rather hang out with her friends and party, rather than study. Sometimes Polly finds it difficult to connect with Tricia because of their differences, even though Tricia is the closest to her age, but for the most part she does get along with her sister.

PERSONAL HISTORY:

First Kiss: Kevin Wallace, in the fifth grade
First Sexual Encounter: None
First Sexual Intercourse: None

Favourite Book: Harry Potter, The Lord of the Rings
Favourite Music: Country - she loves artists such as Reba McEntire and Faith Hill.
Favourite Movie: Movie musicals
Favourite Colour: Blue
Favourite Flavour: Vanilla
Favourite Food: Chinese
Favourite Place: Her grandparents home in England
Favourite Animal: Dogs

Disliked Book: Any
Disliked Music: Rap
Disliked Colour: Pink
Disliked Flavour: Chocolate
Disliked Food: Tomatoes
Disliked Place: Anywhere that's claustrophobic
Disliked Animal: Bugs

Hobbies: Cross Country, Reading, Writing
Phobias: Bugs, Closed spaces
Likes: Running, Math, Accounting, Musicals
Dislikes: Closed spaces, bugs, pollen, chocolate

RELATIONSHIPS:

Best Friends: Lindsey
Friends: Shannon, Greer, Meg, Kevin on the good days
Frienemies: Sally
Enemies: None really
Significant Other: Currently single
Crush: No one in particular at the moment
Past Relationships: Kevin

Sexual Orientation: Straight
Turn-ons: A cute smile, friendship
Turn-offs: Bad manners, people who are extremely obnoxious, slobs

SCHOOL:

Best Subject: Latin
Worst Subject: There aren't any that she really dislikes
Favourite Professor: Her Latin professor
Disliked Professor: She likes all of her teachers, some more than others
GPA: High
Class Rank: In the top Ten

SOUNDTRACK:

Bring it All Back – S Club 7

Don’t stop, never give up
Hold your head high and reach the top
Let the world see what you have got
Bring it all back to you

Delta Goodrem – In this Life

I was nurtured, I was sheltered
I was curious and young
I was searching for that something
Trying to find it on the wrong

Cowboy take me Away – Dixie Chicks

I wanna walk and not run
I wanna skip and not fall
I wanna look at the horizon
And not see a building standing tall

When Tricia and I were younger it used to be a common event between us and dad, but when we grew up and both dad and I got even more busy with work and various other things we didn't have time to spend together like we used to.

It will be a nice change to take time out from work and school stuff and focus on family, and who knows maybe we can make it a more regular event if next Friday goes well.
